I’m am sitting in my hotel room in Minneapolis. It is…one thirty in the morning. But I can’t sleep. There’s too much excitement built up inside of me for the rally tomorrow. I know that a good night’s sleep is important for any rally or protest, but this Rally for the Republic is going to be amazing. Just to see Ron Paul live in action, speaking the word of liberty and freedom and truth is enough to keep me up for the rest of the night.
I’ve got everything ready and with me. All the materials one would need to have in possession at a rally or protest. If you are unfamiliar with the basic items in which you must have with you on such an occasion, I have put together a good list. (Thanks to Docfiles)
- A cell phone
- A video camera (for documentation. Also helps prevent police brutality)
- container of water (you’ll be doing lots of yelling and chanting)
- Home made sign (never hurts)
- wound and chemical care kits (first aid kit)
- rain gear, or sun block (check the weather channel before you leave)
- extra pair of cloths (if you are feeling sweaty, or get gassed badly)
- vinyl gloves (for blood, pepper spray, and fingerprints)
- paper, pen, and time-telling device (documenting events for police)
- emergency contact information
- several days worth of medicine and a doctors note (in case of arrest)
- prescription glasses (No contacts, they can trap chemicals)
- A friend (the buddy system is fool-proof)
- a guide book for treating chemical burns, tear gas wounds, bullet wounds, ect.
- near by car, or planned escape route (in case things get a little out of hand)
- small backpack

here for example you can bring marbles because there are policemen on horses and by throwing marbles on the floor you can bring them down…..and also what you call a “paliacate” that is like a cotton tissue with traditional designs………..just to avoid anyone else seeing your face……
